A man who placed a bounty on the head of Pakistan’s Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa has been arrested in Pakpattan.
The Pakpattan police spokesperson reported that the suspect, Abdul Rahman, had released a video offering a shop and a plot of land to anyone who could bring him the head of Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa.
Following the video’s circulation, the police also detained Muhammad Hussain, who recorded the video. Both individuals now face charges.
Authorities have confirmed that the suspects will be prosecuted under stringent laws, including charges related to terrorism.
